Claim Discount:
Claiming the Green Flag NHS Discount:
- Head to the Green Flag NHS discount page to find the latest terms and conditions, along with contact details.
- To claim the discounted cover you will need to call Green Flag on 0345 246 2766 and provide them with your NHS identification number. The offer cannot be redeemed online.
- This will ensure you get the best possible discounted rate, regardless of the cover level you choose.
- Green Flag are also providing free breakdown assistance for NHS staff who break down on their way to work or back home from it. Whether that’s at the roadside, at home or at the place of work.
- To claim the free breakdown assistance, call 0800 051 0009 and quote your NHS ID number. You will also need to show the technician your ID card when they arrive.
Eligibility & Usage:
- This service is only applicable to NHS staff residing in the UK, and is not available for NHS volunteers.
- The discount cannot be used for Single trip or Annual Multi-trip European cover, or for Family Cover policies.
- This discount does not apply to Personal Cover, should you decide to add it to any of our cover levels.
- The breakdown assistance offer does not cover you if you’re involved in a collision or put the wrong fuel in your vehicle. If this happens, your motor insurance may be able to help.
- If parts are required to repair your vehicle, you will still be responsible for the cost.
- If you already hold a Green Flag policy, and choose to use this free assistance, it will not affect your existing Green Flag policy cover, now or at renewal.
- If you have a policy with Green Flag already, and need assistance over and above travelling to and from work, please contact them and make a claim as you normally would.
