Claim Discount:
Claiming the Vodafone Military Discount:
- Head to the Vodafone Military & MOD Advantage page to get started. Here you will find eligibility rules and general terms and conditions.
- If you are yet to complete your purchase, click the button labelled “Yes I’m ready” and fill out the Advantage application form, using your your military or MOD email address. Once completed you will become a member of the Vodafone Advantage scheme and will receive your discount code via email.
- If you have already purchased an eligible plan, you can apply for the discount to be applied to your new plan by filling out this form within 30 days of purchase.
- Now, visit the Vodafone shop and choose your Pay Monthly plan. Enter the discount code during checkout and the discount will be automatically applied.
Eligibility & Usage:
The Vodafone Military & MOD Advantage programme applies a 25% discount to selected Vodafone Pay monthly airtime and 15% on tablet and SIM only plans.
Active members of the armed forces and other MOD staff should use this application form. Veterans and other ex-service members will need to be signed up to Defence Discount Service (DDS) to receive the Vodafone discount code. This code should then be entered at checkout to apply the discount.
Vodafone Advantage discount is available on phone, tablet and SIM only plans, including Clearance and Nearly new offers.
The discount code can be used twice, so it’s possible to share the savings with a family member or a friend.
Please note that there is a £10 membership fee for the Vodafone Advantage scheme, which will be added to the mobile number’s bill after the discount has been applied. The discount will remain in place until one of the following events: The account is upgraded, the minimum term expires, the agreement changes or the number changes. Hi, DDS do not show any discount for vodafone on their site search and when you try to send a message to DDS, it just comes up with an error and will not send. So no code, no discount for veterans.
Hi Richard – thanks for your comment. I’d recommend you contact Vodafone directly, rather than trying to go through DDS.
The MOD discount page (viewable here) still mentions the DDS discount for veterans, but it may be that the veterans scheme has been paused or discontinued.
The discount is still available for active service members, however.
